💕 Welcome to this little pocket of the universe.

Hi, I’m Misty. I work with thoughtful, deeply feeling people who are tired of having their inner world reduced, rushed, or misunderstood. You may be self-aware and still feel stuck. You may know a lot about yourself and still struggle to make sense of what to do with it. This is a space to show up as you are, without needing to mask, perform, or make yourself smaller just to be easier for other people.

My approach is relational, intuitive, and personal. Therapy with me is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in real life. I integrate theory with your practical reality and adjust based on what you need. My work is rooted in DBT and shaped by a flexible, human-first approach. I welcome neurodivergent clients, queer clients, those exploring deconstruction or existential grief, and anyone who hasn’t felt understood or helped in more traditional spaces.

We can be practical and deep at the same time. We can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and work with the parts of you that feel messy, overwhelmed, intense, uncertain, or tired. Yes, it’s that complicated… and you’re not too much for me.

Who I work well with

  • You feel “intense” but aren’t actually falling apart most of the time, you’re just tired of your emotions being treated like a crisis.
  • You’ve read the books, maybe have done therapy, listened to podcasts, and filled out worksheets, but still feel alone trying to apply it in real life.
  • You’ve been called “too much,” “too sensitive,” “dramatic,” or “rigid” when you were really just being honest and paying attention.
  • You have good insight and high awareness but keep getting stuck in the same relationship patterns, often making yourself small to protect fragile egos.
  • You think in loops, systems, morals, and nuance… and you want a therapist who can actually feel where you’re coming from.

suicidal thoughts & big questions about existence

I want to provide care that can hold the big existential questions without shutting down, oversimplifying, or shoving you into a box where you feel like a liability instead of a person. I’m here for people who have thought about not being here (passively, chronically, philosophically, or even actively) who also think deeply about meaning, purpose, morality, time, and what the point of all this even is.

I don’t see suicidal thoughts as proof that something is wrong with you. I see them as an honest response to impossible, painful, or confusing conditions. I can sit with: I kind of want to die. I also want a life that feels real. I don’t know what any of this is for. We can talk about and process these things together without shaming you, lecturing you, or jumping straight into protocol while ignoring the pain underneath. We’ll still take your safety seriously; we’ll talk about what keeps you here, what makes things feel not worth it, and what support you actually need. You will not be treated like a walking risk or liability.

If you’ve ever quietly thought about not wanting to be here anymore and you also think a lot about meaning and the point of all this, I’m the kind of person who can sit there with you to help you make sense of why you’re still here.

If you’re searching the lines for a point
well, you’ve probably missed it.
There was never anything there in the first place.
