the word entitled gets weaponized too easily
it is often used to shut someone down
when they’re expressing a real need
or expressing what is hurting them
especially if that person has been
margninalized, dismissed, or
expected to just be grateful and quiet
it’s a convenient way to avoid responsibility
it’s not entitlement to ask or want or need
to be heard and treated with care
