a Misty Mindfulness Moment
You don’t have to do anything right now.
You’re not behind.
You’re not late.
You’re already here.
If it feels okay, let your eyes close
or just rest them somewhere soft.
Maybe notice your body
just to say, hey, I see you.
Feet. Seat. Hands. Breath.
Let yourself land, gently.
There’s nothing to fix in this moment.
Whatever’s here
thoughts, tightness, ease, numbness
it’s allowed.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just being.
And that’s enough.
Let your attention move toward the breath,
not to control it, just to notice.
How it comes and goes,
without asking your permission.
Without needing you to perform.
It just… shows up.
You might feel something.
You might not.
You might feel the urge to shift, to escape, to solve.
You can let all of that be part of the moment too.
No need to exile anything.
Maybe even say, gently in your mind:
“I can be here with this.”
Whatever “this” is for you today.
If your mind wanders, that’s okay.
You can just notice, and return.
To the breath.
To the body.
To this space.
Let’s take one breath together
just to mark that we were here.
Inhale…
Exhale…
And when you’re ready,
let your eyes lift
or your attention return to the screen.
There’s no right pace.
We’re not in a rush.
We’re just… here.
And that’s more than enough.
