people want one answer
one “healthy” path
endure or move on
stay or go
let it go or fight
but real life
our life
isn’t made of those clean lines
endurance and movement aren’t opposites
they often happen at the same time
sometimes we move forward by enduring
sometimes we endure so that we can move forward
what people really want when they say “move on” is usually
Stop making me uncomfortable
Stop challenging what I believed
Stop showing me pain
Stop being inconvenient
they conflate silence with healing
they confuse composure with peace
but it’s not stuck
it’s processing
it’s trying to integrate something
and we can talk about it
because silence was where the harm lived
it’s not about choosing between
enduring and moving on
we can do both
and it can be messy and valid
