not everyone wants resolution
some people want comfort, control
closure on their terms
where nothing has to change
except your silence

no resolution doesn’t mean no healing
it just means healing won’t come from them
it means it will have to come from within you
from the truth you hold
from the life you build
from the people who see you and don’t turn away
it’s the place where their story ends in yours
and where your real one begins

because how could it end like this?
they said resolution is supposed to come
if you just try hard enough
speak kindly enough
understand enough
hurt quietly enough
and then everything still shatters
the illusion shatters
there is grief in that
deep, aching grief
and you are allowed to feel it
but this is not the end
this is a start of a new life
where illusions are replaced
with real
