moonbeam knocks

☽ moonbeam knocks

it slips in soft, through slats and seams,
a hush of light that carries dreams.
no voice, no face, but still, it sees
your breath, your ache, your quiet pleas.
it doesn’t ask, it doesn’t wait,
just rests beside your tangled fate.
and though you turn away in bed,
it wraps a silver thread instead
a whisper from the sky so far:
“i see you still, right where you are.”
